M.V Raghavan, Communist Marxist Party (CMP) leader and former Minister, passed away at the Pariyaram Medical College Hospital Kannur. He was 81.
Born on May 5, 1933, he joined politics at the age of 16. Raghavan was expelled from CPI(M) in 1985. Following this, he founded Communist Marxist party (CMP) and the party went on to become a constituent of the UDF.
